April's new school bag
When come to school bag, we are the supporter of a pioneer bag manufacturer in our own town - Poly Pac. April and May's kindergarten school bags were also Poly Pac brand, and I find them really lasting.
This is April's primary 1 school bag. This trolley school bag costs RM80 and it comes with a free hand carry bag.
Her newly bought school bag has a Poly Pac and Smiley logos.
April was a bit disappointed, as she hoped to have Princesses and Barbie Dolls on her school bags. We convinced her to use this school bag, because we really believed in its material and quality.

I saw some of Ian's classmates using this brand too. Is April's class on the ground floor? Ian's was when he was in std 1 last year and I got him a trolley bag too. This year his classroom is on 1st floor, no choice but to get him a backpack + hand carry small bag.

Wah...carrying 2 bags to school? The trolley bag really looks tough. But Gwen would not like bags like this..hehe..she wants with cute cartoon characters.
ReplyDeleteThe school bags look very durable and strong. Good that April understand and can tolerate with you to have this bag instead of bags with princess design. April is really a tolerant girl.
ReplyDeleteGreat,me too using poly pac's bags when I'm in primary and secondary school. It really can last for very long time, quite good quality!

ReplyDeleteI love the bag, I understand girl at April ages must love a bag with dolls or princess. But school nowadays need a good quality of bag cos we bring so many books everyday. Good thought to find a good quality ;)

ReplyDeleteApril is really a good girl for not protesting and willing to use something not of her own choice. Maybe you can get her a small Princess bag for outings and shopping?
I can understand your daughter's disappointment. I will be too if I'm a little girl. But now as an adult, I think it's good to teach children to use the head rather than the heart in our purchase decisions. It's good training for the little ones. Same for my parents too - they would rather choose good and lasting material rather than merely wanting something just for the sake of the printed pictures. ^_^
ReplyDeleteKids these days will voice out their disappointment on the things that they don't like that we buy for them. That's why I always ask my girls first b4 buying them anything, else they won't use them and money would be wasted. During my younger days, I only used a few ringgit rattan square open school bag - the same bag from Std 1 - Std 4!
